We schedule an inspection
Call us at 631-334-8376. Inspection appointments can be scheduled seven days a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.. We will confirm the day and time when we schedule the inspection. We will make every effort to schedule your preferred date and time. For us to properly inspect the roof and external, we recommend doing these inspections on a clear day your roof should be free and clear of all snow and the snow should be cleared from the base of the house.
Inspection of the major systems and significant components of a previously occupied house, townhouse or condo (aka home) for the potential buyer, is usually part of a real estate transaction. The time allotted to complete a home inspection can range from 2 ½ to 4 hours depending on the size and age of the property to be inspected. The home inspection fee is based on the size of the heated/cooled square feet of the property to be inspected.

We inspect your home
Our home inspection is a thorough visual examination of your home and property. We recommend that you accompany us through the entire inspection if possible. This helps you to understand the condition of the home and the details of the report. Many mortgage companies insist on a home inspection report before agreeing to a mortgage, so a pre-sale inspection enables you to address problems before you even put the house on the market. It also removes any questions about the condition of your home for you and a potential homebuyer, improving the speed, price and likelihood of a sale.
The inspection process usually takes two to three hours, during which time the house is examined from the ground up. It includes observation and, when appropriate, operation of the plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and appliance systems, as well as structural components, such as the roof, foundation, basement, exterior and interior walls, chimney, doors and windows. Each home inspection is performed in accordance to the NYS standards of practice.

We generate a report..
Home inspection reports often begin with an informational section which gives general information about the home, such as the client’s name, the square footage, and the year the home was built. Inspection reports also often include a summary report listing major problems to ensure that important issues are not missed by the reader. It's important that the reader be aware of safety issues or conditions which will be expensive to correct.

We review the report with you.
We will read your home inspection report in its entirety with you, not relying solely on the summary, as there will be detailed information in the body of the inspection report that you may find important but is not considered a deficiency. It is important that you understand the condition of the home you are about to purchase. After all, it is most likely one of the largest investments you will ever make.
